2nd Annual Residential Design A Major Success
Residential Design 2006 continued its successful winning streak with a 17% increase in attendance in 2006. 9,326 attendees pre-registered for this year's event. Exhibitor participation also grew with 50 booths added to the show floor resulting in over 250 participants.

Highlights included a sold-out Keynote Address for the trade led by Sarah Susanka FAIA, Marc Vassallo and Julie Moir Messervy along with 60 additional workshops. The general public saw the introduction of seven consumer seminars. Consumer hours were expanded in '06 to include both evenings of the event.

Exhibits
The tradeshow floor was limited to 250 exhibits focusing on residential products and services for both the trade and consumers. Design exhibits included the portfolios of work from New England architecture, interior design and landscape design firms; the winning submissions to the Small Projects Design Awards and photographs of designers by Elsa Dorfman to name a few.
