Annual Residential Design A Major Success Residential Design 2006 continued
its successful winning streak with a 17% increase in attendance in 2006. 9,326
attendees pre-registered for this year's event. Exhibitor participation also grew
with 50 booths added to the show floor resulting in over 250 participants.
Highlights included a sold-out Keynote Address for the trade led by Sarah Susanka
FAIA, Marc Vassallo and Julie Moir Messervy along with 60 additional workshops.
The general public saw the introduction of seven consumer seminars. Consumer hours
were expanded in '06 to include both evenings of the event. Exhibits
The tradeshow floor was limited to 250 exhibits focusing on residential products
and services for both the trade and consumers. Design exhibits included the portfolios
of work from New England architecture, interior design and landscape design firms;
the winning submissions to the Small Projects Design Awards and photographs of
